Our latest Ride to School program took us, ACF in partnership with Cycology Riding Club, to Igbooye Senior High School Epe, on Thursday November 26, 2020, where we presented 10 free bicycles and helmets to some students. For many boys and girls in rural areas, schooling does not come easy. They walk up to 10 kilometers to get to school daily and back.
The program is aimed at supporting education in the rural areas by empowering students through the provision of basic mobility to optimize their learning potentials. In 2021, together with our partners and friends, we plan to raise 100 bicycles and helmets to be presented free of charge to students in rural Lagos.
